Geekery: Replacing the RAM on a NetApp FAS3070 Cluster Partner, Jan 2008

So heres how it works:

1) cf takeover on the other cluster member
2) power down the takenover filer
3) pull out the system board and change the ram
4) put it back in
5) boot the filer
6) cf giveback on the filer that has taken over
